The play “Macbeth” explores themes of betrayal, deception, ambition and destiny. But Macbeth’s story is not just about power. The real tragedy is the extreme pride, which the Greeks called arrogance. Now the media is playing the role of the birch tree behind which real opponents are hiding to attack Donald Trump’s empire of lies.
