The small sample size of the study of only 371 participants could be considered a weakness. Therefore, using the main study sample with a larger sample size can improve the study results.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the study provides insights into the motivations of online political discussions and helps to identify the behavioral and structural factors associated with them.
