One of the major factors attracting consumers to Electric Vehicles is battery power. With long lasting and furthest driving batteries considered to be the most appropriate. The organizations that will uphold these aspects in the future as well as provide the cheapest battery will eventually dominate the market. It is for this reason that Tesla currently single-handedly dragged the auto industry to join the EV business (Wagner, 2021). Tesla currently holds over 50% share of the EV market in the US with local and multinational corporations struggling behind (Wagner, 2021). Chevrolet is the next best competitor as it takes up 9.89% of the market with over 36,000 vehicles sold over the year 2018. Toyota and BMW as they sold EVs accounting for 7.52% and 6.24% of the EV market share (Wagner, 2021). These multinational auto companies should are actively employing strategies that will help them catch up with Tesla, although they may well have lost already. BMW is active in the luxury brand and its i3 and i8 models continue to provide its consumers with the alternative to Tesla Vehicles.
