Based on one of the project descriptions listed below, work as a team to design a software-based solution for your chosen project. They must work together to design solutions and assign tasks to each team member as needed. The composition and workflow of your team is up to you. However, you will need to select a team administrator who will be responsible for team liaison with the module leader, module tutor, and her Intergence company representative.
Team membership is assigned at the start of the module.
You must submit a report for this assignment by the deadline. Each team member must submit an identical copy of the report. The report must be well presented and written in a formal style. The report must contain at least the following sections in the following order:
1) Cover sheet with SID (make sure to upload the file with her SID, for example: 203948.zip)
2) Table of contents/figures, etc. as necessary
3) Task assignment list
You should include each student’s SID number and a table outlining the sections of the project each student completed.
4) Project requirements
A detailed description of the project requirements should be included based on the initial presentation and subsequent question and answer session. You also need to be clear about the assumptions you have made.
5) Project design solution
Appropriate tools should be included such as flowcharts, use case diagrams, wireframe diagrams, navigation maps, and other appropriate graphical tools used to design the solution.
To test your solution, you must include the appropriate pseudocode and trace tables.
6) Evaluation
Evaluate design solutions based on the principles covered in lecture.
7) References
References must be in the correct reference system ‘ARU Harvard’.
Since this is a group task, each team member is expected to submit his 1,500 word text. These include diagrams, pseudocode snippets, tables, wireframe diagrams, navigation maps, prototypes, and copyrighted works.
Application deadline: 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022

Intergence (link to external website) is expanding its services to include the Internet of Things (IOT). This allows you to monitor various conditions of your hardware, devices, and environment. This can include everything from your WiFi signal and speed to the number of devices on your network, the number of people in your office, air quality, temperature, and more. In theory, IOT capabilities monitor the actual experience a person has in a location, but they can also be tracked and monitored remotely. What makes this IoT data collection more attractive and relevant is a system that collects known or “reference” data first. Ideally, this reference data should be entered at the beginning of the customer’s order. For example, the number of employees employed by the company, the “expected” number of devices on a particular WiFi network, the number of building entrances, typical working hours, etc. This expected/known data is compared to the observed/actual experience monitored by IoT sensors.
The task is to design reference data collection elements and think about how to collect them. Â We can provide examples for our own office environment (floor space, number of employees, number of visitors, devices, devices on the network, etc.), but we are unable to provide any examples of how this applies to other customer environments. need to be considered.
The proposed solution may include additional improvements such as:
Providing an opportunity to update submitted responses
Determine the maximum and minimum permissible ranges and the corresponding alarm conditions (for example, the server room must not exceed 28 °C and must not fall below 15 °C).
For Intergence (link to external website), hiring new employees is a time-consuming process, but it’s important to get it right. Â You need to organize your calendar while keeping a few people away from other jobs and projects. It may be more ideal to have a system in place that allows you to pre-screen potential candidates using a series of questions. The system must be pre-loaded with questions by Intergence’s HR manager, provide a means to determine the type of question (multiple choice, short paragraph, etc.), and use true/false answers to: there is. Provides an overall “fit score” for a particular candidate. You can use this to make decisions about how to proceed with the interview.
Other extensions that students think of may also be helpful.
Codebase questions and answers can also be edited
Timed answers to questions
Integration with any video calling software (MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
Integration with calendar systems (e.g. selection of available interview dates)
This assignment should encourage critical thinking, attention to detail, and questioning. It’s okay to make assumptions, but highlight the risks in each assumption. Â You need to understand that software development is more than just coding.
