Summary

The grades in these courses are worth 25% of the overall grade for the module. This coursework provides students with the opportunity to conduct research and write reports on current issues in cybersecurity systems. Coursework covers two areas:

(1) cybersecurity systems research and (2) computer simulation (implementation). Research elements should include methods, features, and procedures. The implementation must include software, algorithms, packages, or apps from the Internet that can be run using the chosen theme. Implementations can also include web pages and database tables.

1. Develop an application/script that implements/simulates the selected topic. The implementation should include software, algorithms, packages or apps from the Internet that can simulate some aspect of the chosen topic. Implementations can also include web pages and database tables.
2. Write a 2000 word report covering the topics investigated, simulations performed, and demonstrating successful implementation and results/findings.
3. Prepare a short presentation summarizing your report and implementation and present it to your classmates in class.
